While the Raiders have no idea who’s going to be their quarterback, they’re doing a solid job building their offensive line. They snagged offensive tackles Menelik Watson and Austin Howard as a start.
A good move, but depth would make them better.
This is a novel idea, but perhaps just as good is locking down perhaps the best center in the game. Much like St. Louis, regardless of who’s back in the pocket, Oakland’s now setting them up to be well-protected.
If Watson and Howard can hold their own on the outside, Raiola handles the middle like the champ he is.
