Wide Recever:

First String – Taariq Allen, Jamal Turner, Kenny Bell
Second String –  Jordan Westerkamp, Brandon Reilly, Alonzo Moore

This should be a truly interesting competition and much like the No. 2 QB spot, will likely shake out by the Huskers’ trip to Fresno. Bell and Turner have been consistent enough to hold onto their starting spots.

Thanks to Allen’s recovery from injury and fantastic spring, expect him to take over for the departed Quincy Enunwa. Enunwa was a more physical receiver, but Allen can separate from his man much faster and could be deadly in the corners of the end zone.

Moore is a darkhorse as he has all of the athletic ability to be a superstar, but appears to have difficult grasping the concepts of Tim Beck’s offense.

Westerkamp and Reilly help provide more physical receivers on the outside and in the slot, respectively.
