Every Three Years: Win The Big Ten West

The Huskers’ current division resembles the old Big 12 North. Some competitive teams, but mostly scrubs. The yearly tilt with Wisconsin should be the de facto Big Ten West title game. I still expect Northwestern to be a nuisance, but other than that, the Big Red has it pretty soft.

Winning the division every three years seems like a more than reasonable request, especially when adjusting for a breakout year from a darkhorse like Minnesota or Iowa’s occasional run. That said, back-to-back division championships shouldn’t be a rarity.
