Nebraska’s Most Wanted (Last Edition For 2012 Class)
By Jimmie Allen
With National Signing Day six days away, Nebraska still has a handful of uncommitted players interested in coming to Lincoln. This will be the last edition of Nebraska’s Most Wanted of the 2012 class.

Nebraska’ Most Wanted List
1. Andrus Peat, Offensive Tackle, Corona Del Sol High School, Tempe, Arizona: Peat remains the top priority for the Huskers. He is the only 5 star prospect still considering Nebraska. He is 6-foot-7, 305 lbs. He participated in the Under Armour All-American Game, and even though he struggled during practice he had a very solid game. Peat’s brother Todd is a redshirt freshman defensive tackle who plans on seeing a lot of playing time next season. Peat’s cousin Avery Moss, is a current commit to the 2012 class.
2. Devin Fuller, Quarterback/Athlete, Old Tappan High School, Old Tappan, New Jersey: The 6-foot-0, 185 lb. signal caller from New Jersey was heavily considering Rutgers along with Arizona, Nebraska, TCU, and UCLA. Fuller was considered to be a Rutgers lean, but with Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano leaving to be come the Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach on Thursday, Fuller may be leaning away from the Scarlet Knights. This may open the door for Nebraska, and Arizona. The two other schools considered to be the favorite to get Fuller. The dark horse in this race is UCLA.
3. Vincent Valentine, Defensive Tackle, Edwardsville High School, Edwardsville, Illinois: Valentine is the biggest Nebraska lean left on the board. His relationship with Nebraska defensive coordinator is as strong as any other recruit. He is 6-foot-3, 275 lbs., and is built for football at the college level right now. With the depth on the defensive line, Valentine will more than likely redshirt if he comes to Nebraska, but he will be able to compete for playing time in his second year on campus.
4. Aaron Curry, Defensive Tackle, Fossil Ridge High School, Keller Texas: Curry is 6-foot-3, 275 lbs., and is one of the top priorities on the Huskers list. He is down to Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, TCU, and Texas A&M. Curry is a considered to be a Nebraska lean. He will more than likely be a Signing Day decision.
5. Alonzo Moore, Wide Receiver, Winnfield High School, Winnfield, Louisiana: Moore was considered to be one of the biggest Husker leans left on the board, but after a recent visit to in-state school Louisiana Tech, the race may have just become closer. Moore is still considering Nebraska, Louisiana Tech, and Mississippi State.
6. Imani Corss, Runningback, North Hall High School, Gainsville, Georgia: Cross becomes a priority now that Davante Bourque has committed to Tennessee. Cross is the last running back Nebraska is pursuing for this class. He is 6-foot-1, 220 lbs. and is the bruising back that Nebraska is looking for. Cross is down to Nebraska and Kentucky. It’s a 50/50 race. (Cross committed to Nebraska Thursday Night)
7. Devian Shelton, Cornerback, Inglewood High School, Inglewood California: Shelton is currently an Oregon State commit. He is 6-foot-1, 185 lbs. He has reopened his recruitment to a few schools. Shelton is strongly considering Nebraska. He seems to be a bout a 60/40 split, favoring the Beavers.
8. Brandon Beaver, Cornerback, Dominguez High School, Compton California: Of everyone on this list Beaver is probably the longest shot to land. He is down to Nebraska, Oklahoma, UCLA, Utah, and Washington. He recently visited the Sooners, and is considered to be leaning either towards Oklahoma or Washington.
9. Raymond Ford, Corenerback, Junipero Serra High School, Gardena, California: Ford is the teammate of current Husker commit Thomas Brown. He is also the cousin of former Nebraska safety Rickey Thenarse . Ford was previously committed to UCLA, but reopened his recruitment when the coaching change happened for the Bruins. Ford is down to California, Colorado, Nebraska, Utah, and Washington State. Ford is considered to be a Nebraska lean.
10. Corey Thompson, Safety, Missouri City High School, Missouri City, Texas: Thompson is a Texas A&M commit. He has reopened his recruitment and is considering the Huskers a long with a couple of other schools. He is 6-foot-2, 205 lbs. He is down to LSU, Nebraska, Texas A&M, and Arkansas.
