Who Is Still Out There

With signing day 12 days away there are a list of high school senior who have either, not committed, or have reopened their recruiting process. Nebraska has a just a little more room in this class.  This list will include the players name, city and state in which they live, the high school they attend and what schools they are considering. Following this will show a list of percentages. Those percentages will show a confidence in what school the prospect may attend according to Husker Corner.com.

Here is the list of players and where Husker Corner thinks they may end up.

Brandon Beaver, Cornerback, Compton, CA. Dominguez High School (Undecided): Beaver is down to Nebraska, Oklahoma, Utah, UCLA, and Washington. During his time at the U.S. Army All-American game Beaver set up a trip to Norman to see the Sooners. All indications say that Beaver would like to stay on the west coast. It seems to be a two horse race between Washington and Oklahoma, with Nebraska still being a slight consideration.

Confidence: Nebraska 20%, Oklahoma 35%, UCLA 5%,  Utah 5%,Washington 35%.

Davante Bourque, Runningback, Crowley, LA., Crowley High School: Bourque committed to Tennessee on Jan. 13. He still may take a visit to either Nebraska, Arizona State, or Miami later this month. He is 6-foot-3 and 200 lbs. He is the prototypical “big back” that the Huskers could really use right now.

Confidence: Arizona State 10%, Miami 20%, Nebraska 30%, Tennessee 40%.

Keoni Bush-Loo: Tight End, Honolulu, HI., Kamehameha High School: Bush-Loo plans on visiting Nebraska at the end of this month. He is 6-foot-4, 200 lbs. He recently brought Nebraska into his list of schools. The Husker started recruiting him harder after Hyattsville, MD. tight end Brent Wilkerson remained committed to Penn State. Bush-Loo has only taken visits to Arizona, and Idaho. He will visit Nebraska.

Confidence Arizona 15%, Idaho 5%, Nebraska 80%

Imani Cross, Running Back, Gainsville, GA. North Hall High School: Cross is 6-foot-1, 220 lbs. If the Huskers can’t pull Bourque away from the Volunteers, Cross may become the number one target for signing day. Cross is down to East Carolina, Kentucky, Nebraska and Virginia.

Confidence: East Carolina 15%, Kentucky 20%, Nebraska 45%, Virginia 20%.

Aaron Curry, Defensive Tackle, Keller, TX., Fossil Ridge High School: This may be the most interesting target left. Nebraska has shown a lot of interest in landing a defensive tackle in the 2012 class. Curry still has an official visit coming up to Iowa, but with the addition of Rick Kaczenski to the coaching staff in Lincoln, Curry has been very interested in Nebraska. Curry is down to the Hawkeyes, Missouri, Nebraska and TCU.

Confidence: Iowa 10%, Missouri 8%, Nebraska 80%, TCU 2%.

Raymond Ford, Cornerback, Gardena, CA., Junipero Serra High School:  Ford was a former UCLA commit but withdrew his commitment after the change in the Bruins coaching staff. He is down to Cal, Colorado, Nebraska, and Utah. Ford is the cousin of former Nebraska safety Rickey Thenarse. That gives Nebraska a slight advantage.

Confidence: Cal, 25%, Colorado 20%, Nebraska 45%, Utah 10%.

Devin Fuller, Quarterback, Old Tappan, NJ., Old Tappan High School: Fuller want’s to play quarterback, and at the U.S. Army All-American game he made it clear that he would prefer to go somewhere, where can make an impact immediately at that position. This hurts Nebraska. He is also a potential first round draft pick in the 2012 Major League Baseball draft, but has said that he wants to go to college. Fuller is down to Arizona, Baylor, Nebraska, Nore Dame, Rutgers, TCU and UCLA.

Confidence: Arizona 30%, Baylor 10%, Nebraska 15%, Notre Dame 5%, Rutgers 30%, TCU 5%, UCLA 5%

Alonzo Moore, Wide Receiver, Winnfield, LA., Winnfield High School: Moore is a jack of all trades. He played quarterback, wide receiver, defensiveback and returned kicks in high school. At 6-foot-2, 170 lbs he will play wide receiver at the next level, but is interested in playing in the secondary. He will be a signing day announcement.  He is down to two schools in Nebraska, and Mississippi State.

Confidence: Nebraska 90%, Mississippi State 10%.

Andrus Peat, Offensive Tackle, Tempe, AZ., Corona Del Sol High School: Peat is the younger brother of Nebraska redshirt freshman defensive tackle Todd Peat Jr. and the cousin of 2012 Nebraska commit Avery Moss. He is down to Florida State, Nebraska, Stanford and USC. Despite struggling in the Under Armour All-American game, Peat is still considered one of the best offensive line prospects in the country. It looks like Nebraska is the team to beat on signing day.

Confidence: Florida State 10 %, Nebraska 70%, Stanford 10%, USC 10%.

Devian Shelton, Cornerback, Inglewood, CA., Inglewood High School: Shelton is currently an Oregon State commit, but has decided to reopen his recruiting process. He is 6-foot-1, 185 lbs. After taking a trip to Lincoln he came pretty close to committing to the Huskers, but decided to stay committed to Oregon State for the time being. He is set to take an official visit to Washington on Jan 20.

Confidence: Nebraska 33%, Oregon State 34%, Washington 33%.

]

Corey Thompson, Safety, Missouri City TX., Elkins High School:  Thompson is currently a Texas A&M commit, but has reopened his recruiting process after the coaching change in College Station. He took a trip to Lincoln on Jan 6. He is set to visit LSU on Jan 20., and Oklahoma State on Jan. 27. The 6-foot-2, 205 lb. safety was joined by his father on his trip to Nebraska, both walked away with high praise of the Husker program.

Confidence: LSU 30%, Nebraska 30%, Oklahoma State 10%, Texas A&M 30%.

Vincent Valentine, Defensive Tackle, Edwardsville, IL., Edwardsville High School:  the 6-foot-3, 300 pounder is down to three schools. Florida, Illinois, and Nebraska. It has seemed like Nebraska has been the leader of the pack the whole time, and continues to be. He recently took a trip to see the Gators, but did not commit, or seem to change his list of schools. There is just no way I see anyone but Nebraska landing this kid.

Confidence: Florida 5%, Illinois 5%, Nebraska 90%.
