3 Star Corner Set To See Irish and Broncos, Hoping to See Huskers

Crete, Illinois, Crete Monee High School cornerback Anthony Standifer committed to Michigan last summer, but recently withdrew his commitment from the Wolverines.
The Wolverines are a touchy subject for him, and he didn’t want to talk about them on Saturday, but he did talk about some other schools.
“I really don’t want to talk about that right now,” Standifer said about his relationship with Michigan. “They really aren’t on my list right now, but I am open to just about any other school.”
The 6-foor-1, 178 lb defensive back has two official visits set up, and is working on a 3rd right now.
“I am going to take an official to Boise State, and Notre Dame,” Standifer said. “I am going to Notre Dame on Jan. 20th, and Boise State on the 27th. I just wanna see everything, and meet the coaches. I want to meet the players on the teams and see if I can play early. I think I am ready for that. I think I am ready to play early. I don’t want to be a selfish person. So playing early is not a huge deal, but it’s something I am looking for.”
With Boise State and Notre Dame stealing the first two official visits Nebraska should not be to far behind.
“I am very interested in Nebraska, and my official there is in the works.” Standifer said. “Coach (Corey) Raymond came by my school last week to talk to me. He wanted me to come down to Nebraska on the 27th, but I am going to Boise State that day. So I asked him if I could come on February 3rd. He said they will try to make something happen for me.”
Standifer said he knows a lot about the Husker program, and the state of Nebraska.
“I know they are known for their defense,” Standifer said. “They are all about defense there and I like that. They just joined the Big Ten, which isn’t a big deal, but that’s cool. I also heard that Nebraska is like the number one place to live. Like people there are the most happy and stuff.”
Standifer doesn’t have a favorite program right now, and is not sure when he will commit. He might be a signing day decision.
