The Associated Press released their 2011 All-American teams on Wednesday.

The lone Husker All-American was senior linebacker Lavonte David, who earned second team All-American honors. This is the second straight year David has been named to the second team.

David finished 2011 with 122 tackles, 3 sacks, 2 interceptions and 2 forced fumbles.
