In less than two weeks, the 2014 Nebraska football season starts as the Huskers take the field against the Florida Atlantic Owls. It’s been an eventful fall camp thus far, unfortunately more bad than good happened, but there are some silver linings.

There were plenty of question marks coming into the first practices which were only compounded by injuries. However, the next men up have impressed.

In fact, it appears that Nebraska’s finally building some positive momentum after falling deep in the hole behind the loss of so much talent and necessary depth. There’s still plenty of work to do, not only before the Owls come to town, but for the season as a whole.
