Nebraska football was busy this week.

As the offseason continues for the Nebraska football program, they have been busy recruiting for the future. Between virtual visits and extending offers to prospects, they are already working hard to put together the 2022 recruiting class.. They are certainly planting the seeds for what could possibly be the future of the program for some of these prospects.

Last week and even early this week was busy in particular. Nebraska football seems to be going after high-caliber prospects on both sides of the football. We are beginning to see Scott Frost have a vision for what he wants to do with this program and the type of personnel he wants in it. That is certainly a good thing. What is also a good thing is that he doesn’t seem to be settling for average recruits. He wants players that play at a high level. That is exactly what you need to win in the Big Ten.

Although there was not much in the way of commitments this week, there was still quite a bit of action to be had. My guess is that we won’t see a ton of commitments this month for 2022 , rather potentially maybe as the spring and summer move forward. Either way, Nebraska football should be in the thick of things as it always seems like they are when it comes to recruiting.
