Nebraska Football needs to do these things to win.

As Nebraska football gets set to take on Illinois, there are a lot of good things to reflect on from the Penn State game. There are also some things they must do if they want to beat Illinois. Last season, Illinois was a very tough team. They battled Nebraska throughout the entire night, and I expect this game to have the same feel to it this year. Although Illinois is not flashy, they can get the job done.

Nebraska football needs to work on some basic things if they want to be able to succeed on Saturday. Although their win against Penn State was a nice victory, there were a lot of glaring things that needed to be addressed. If they can get these three things cleaned up against Illinois, they will certainly be in business and put themselves in a much better position to win.

A win on Saturday would put them at 2-2 and give them momentum heading into a crucial matchup against  Iowa. last year, Nebraska football do not have a ton of momentum when it came to wins and losses. This year, that could all change.

With that in mind, I take a look at three things Nebraska football needs to do if they want to win against the Fighting Illini.
