Nebraska football has been busy trying to strengthen the 2021 class.

Nebraska football is working really hard to bolster their 2021 class. They already have several high-profile commitments, and it doesn’t appear that they will be done soon. Every day, it seems like they continue to reload their 2021 class. I’m certainly not complaining.

Just from a class standpoint, Nebraska has focused on things defensively. We all know that they are always looking for more quarterbacks, so putting a quarterback in each class is a given. However, they have really focused on strengthening the linebacker and quarterback positions. Having balance in a class is certainly good. For instance, Nebraska will definitely need to reload at linebacker in the next couple of years, and they continue to try and add even more talent on offensively.

Just looking at some of these prospects overall, Nebraska football  was trending in their direction. That is certainly encouraging to see. Even last year, I did not see that at all. I saw Nebraska on the outside looking in too often. Now, that has changed. Nebraska has really made a push to offer some of the top prospects in the country. The next step is getting them to commit here, and for some prospects, that’s easier said than done.

With all of this in mind, I take a look at some dark-horse prospects for Nebraska football. Nebraska may be on the outside looking in for some of these names, but they do have a shot at landing them. After all, in recruiting, anything can happen. Nebraska has learned that the hard way.
