The Nebraska football receiver has a bright future ahead of him.

I’ll admit, wide receiver Omar Manning is one of my favorite players. I was ecstatic when he came to Nebraska football in December. Nebraska now finally has a weapon that they can use at wideout. With the talented quarterbacks the program has, having Manning a part of the receiving group should only mean great things for Nebraska’s offense.

With two years of eligibility remaining, Manning should be able to leave his mark in Lincoln. The transfer from Kilgore College recorded 727 yards and six touchdowns  in 2019. He averaged 20.8 yards per catch, showcasing his explosive playmaking ability. Now, he will look to bring that same playmaking ability to Lincoln. With a tough schedule set for the 2020 season, Manning could figure to be a huge part of things next year.

I offer some reasons as to why Omar Manning will excel for Nebraska football.
