Yes,, Nebraska football will not have to face running back Jonathan Taylor. However, the Wisconsin Badgers still have a couple of solid running backs on the depth chart. Most namely, Nakia Watson has a chance to lead the charge there.
He carried the ball 74 times for 331 yards and two touchdowns last season. His best game of the 2019 season came in the opener. Against USF on August 30, he ran the ball 14 times for 80 yards and a touchdown.
Nebraska will also have to deal with quarterback Jack Coan. He had tremendous success against Nebraska at Memorial Stadium. He only threw for 162 yards, but he averaged 7.7 yards per pass and a touchdown. On the season, he finished with 2,727 yards, 18 touchdowns, and five interceptions. He certainly had a good year in a tough Big Ten conference.
Those two players alone, combined with the fact that Nebraska has to travel to Camp Randall is sure to make it a tough game. Nebraska is set to meet Wisconsin on November 21 during the tougher back half of the schedule. That is certainly not ideal as well. It will be interesting to see what the final score of the game will be.
