The position has a lot of bodies

There’s no shortage of bodies the wide receiver position for Nebraska football. According to the official roster on the website, Nebraska has 20+ receivers in the fold. In terms of what that means for the 2020 class, Nebraska has seven newcomers without numbers.

You have the returners who should be able to make an impact. Guys like Kade Warner and JD Spielman certainly figure to be a part of the equation. Also, we can’t forget about guys that committed to the program last year. Players like Demariyon Houston and Jamie Nance should also be able to contribute. Let’s not forget about a player like Darian Chase, who looks like he has a lot of potential.

Nebraska football is stacked in terms of numbers at wide receiver. I’ll be interested to see who contributes out of this group. I can see players like Houston, Chase, and Nance getting playing time this year. Now in their second year with the program, they should have a better grasp of what the offense is going to be. Jaevon McQuitty is another player that I could see getting some playing time this year. Nebraska football has a lot of options to play with at the position, and it will be interesting to see who they mix and match on the field come 2020.
