Nebraska football: Spring Game visitors react to the day
Nebraska football appears to be making an impact with Ohio running back.
The Nebraska football coaching staff has long talked about the fact that they want a massive stable of running backs to pull players from.
That’s why the Cornhuskers’ staff has been going after a ton of running backs in the 2019 class. One of the best in that class is Ohio back John Bivens.
Ranked as a three-star running back by 247Sports composite rankings, he’s considered the 13th best player in the state of Ohio. He’s also the 26th best running back in the entire 2019 class.
Bivens might be one of the most sought after recruits that made the trip to Lincoln. While he hasn’t been offered by Ohio State yet, he has offers from power teams like USC, Louisville and West Virginia.

The Huskers are also going up against a couple of Big Ten teams like Purdue and Indiana. One of the things the Conrhuskers have over any of the other schools on the list is that they had 86,000 people come watch them practice.
Bivens was clearly blown away by the atmosphere he got to see. He had to also like the stats the Nebraska football running backs were putting up.
