Hannah is confident he can do well for Nebraska Football.

Linebacker Jackson Hannah is a prospect I have been very excited about it. The Nebraska Football defense should be in good hands with him for years to come. He has come to Lincoln with only a three-star rating as a recruit, but that doesn’t mean much in terms of his work ethic and ability. He is ready to work hard, and it shows when he talks to the media.

In a report written by Mike Schaefer of 247Sports, Hannah opened up about the recruiting process he went through. It was really insightful, as it kinda gave a little bit of a look into what he dealt with in terms of recruiting. Moreover, he reiterated the fact that he is willing to work hard for his place on the team. That certainly fits well with the identity the Nebraska Football program is trying to create. They want players who can work hard and take accountability. It sounds like Hannah can do both of those things.

I’m excited to see him play. He is explosive, he can get to the quarterback in a hurry,  and it has been well documented that he is a tackling machine. Hopefully he can bring that with him to Lincoln. Tony Tuioti should be a great defensive coordinator for him as his defense seems to be preaching on aggressiveness. Aggressive is how Hannah plays the game of football, and once he flips on that switch, the opposition should be nervous.

"“I like to think of myself as a new inside linebacker — a new breed,” he said. “You think of an inside linebacker. You think of 6-foot-2, 250 pounds and a stout guy. The Garrett Nelsons I’ll say. I think I’m fast. I’m quick off the ball. Pretty decent football IQ. I can read a play like none other. I think I’m best in the country at that.”"

He doesn’t lack confidence as well. As long as he does not get too far ahead of himself, that trait should serve him well. He will be playing for a coach he likes in Scott Frost. As he told Schaefer, Frost’s recruiting pitch  was what brought him to the Nebraska Football program. When you think about the fact that he was recruited by the likes of Urban Meyer, Nick Saban, and Kirby Smart, that speaks a lot about Frost as both a recruiter and a coach.

It will be interesting to see what he does for the program in the coming years. One thing is for sure, his future will be bright. He has enough talent and ability to make an impact for this football team. He could end up being one of the best recruits of the 2019 recruiting class. That would certainly be saying something.
