The Nebraska football staff is working diligently to not only prepare for spring football but make sure a slew of offers are out on time. So far, so good.

Over this past week, Nebraska offered a healthy 15 prospects. That breaks down to five running backs, four defensive ends, three offensive tackles, an outside linebacker, a safety, an athlete and a partridge in a pear tree.

Okay, not so much that last one.

Take defensive end Cameron Latu out of Salt Lake City, UT for example. At 6-5 234, he could project to a pass rusher in Bob Diaco’s new 3-4 defense, but there’s also a chance he could drop back into an outside linebacker role.

The Huskers have to start replenishing their stock of offensive tackles in general, but if Nick Gates goes pro early, that leaves Nebraska with quite a bit of inexperience on both edges. Keep your eyes peeled for some more recruiting wrap-ups on Husker Corner in the upcoming weeks.
