Around the Corn: Husker Offense recruits 2015 (pt 2)

Okay, it’s time to feature the Husker part of the gang that likes to score (not that a pick 6 isn’t awesome but we wrote about them already). There were some questions about Matt Snyder sticking with Coach Riley but that rumor was recently squelched. I think the “NICE GUY” is doing things just fine! And even he’s tweeting about it!

Probably the biggest Husker “get” recently was Jalin Barnett who will play as a Guard on the line. Christian Gaylord is a catch as well. Local kid Michael Decker also joins as a Guard.

It will be VERY hard to replace the charm of Kenny Bell, and yeah he could catch too. Stanley Morgan from New Orleans will be groomed to do just that. It’s gong to be even harder to replace Ameer Abdullah but it looks like Devine Ozigbo is all ready to sign on the dotted line Feb. 4th!

More news will happen over the next few days. Other guys to chase down: Alex Davis at DE, Angelo Garbutt at LB, Lavan Alston and Marquise Lewis at WRs to name a few.  After signing day is over we are going to put together some news on one of the best things about Husker football, the walk ons! In my book this is the true heart of who we are in Nebraska. These guys are the blue collar of our team but as history has shown, they can be the most and best unexpected surprises.  In the meantime, GO BIG RED!!!
