The fall sports season is officially in full swing as the Big Ten unveiled the men’s Nebraska basketball team’s conference slate for the 2014-2015 season.
Men’s Nebrasketball opens conference play against Indiana on Dec. 31.
Other home games include Rutgers (Jan. 9), Illinois (Jan. 11), Minnesota (Jan. 20), Michigan State (Jan. 24), Northwestern (Feb. 3), Wisconsin (Feb. 10), Iowa (Feb. 22) and Maryland (Mar. 8).
On the road, the Big Red will face Iowa (Jan. 5), Wisconsin (January 15), Michigan (Jan. 31), Minnesota, Penn State (Feb. 7), Purdue (Feb. 15), Maryland (Feb. 19), Ohio State (Feb. 26) and Illinois Mar. 6.
The Tuesday, Jan. 27 game against Michigan and Tuesday, Feb. 10 game against Wisconsin will both air on ESPN at 6 P.M. and 8 P.M., respectively.
According to Huskers.com, all start times and television information will be released by the Big Ten come September.
All conference games will be available will be nationally televised on the Big Ten’s television partners.
The official site of the Big Red goes on to say that UNL student tickets in the Red Zone have all been sold.
Nebraska won’t be sneaking up on anyone this year as were picked to finish No. 2 overall in the conference by the league’s coaches, just behind Indiana.
