Huskers' Tim Miles Takes A Cold Water Shower For ALS Awareness

Nebrasketball head coach Tim Miles and two members of his Huskers hoop staff have officially taken the Ice Bucket Challenge. Not familiar with it?

In an effort to raise money and awareness for ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), people all over the world have been dumping ice cold water over their heads.

Then they drop the gauntlet.

ESPN’s Dana O’Neil took the challenge, and her targets included a very familiar one around the Cornhusker State.

Ice buckets at dawn it is, madam! Well, early morning.

As all Nebrasketball fans know, when Miles is challenged to something that will go public in the social media realm, he goes hard to the hoop or he doesn’t go at all.

Such was the case with his Ice Bucket Challenge:

How many other college basketball coaches will step up and take the Ice Bucket Challenge? The Big Ten’s full of potential candidates (looking at you, Tom Izzo) and what would this campaign be without Mike Krzyzewski?

We’ll make a deal with YOU, the reader. If you take the challenge and put it up on YouTube, we’ll feature it here on Husker Corner.
