Considering the Huskers lost LeRoy Alexander for the year on August 8, they could use some good news. That came in the form of adding commitment No. 12, Tucker, GA’s own Nekyle Lundie, to the 2015 class.
Charlton Warren continues his success in SEC country and had Rich Fisher by his side to secure the 6’2″ 215-pounder from Stephenson High School. Lundie marks the Huskers’ second commitment out of Georgia this year alone.
He attended the 2014 Under Armour All-America Football Combine and ran a 4.54 shuttle time along with having a 27.5-inch vertical leap recorded according to 247Sports.com. He also attended the 2014 Atlanta Nike Football Camp.
Lundie ranks as the No. 103 receiver in the nation and No. 85 prospect in the Peach State.
He also had offers from Auburn, Missouri, Georgia Tech and Georgia State.
Lundie’s commitment moves the Big Red up to No. 28 in the 247Sports team recruiting rankings.
His commitment helps salve the sting of losing Kenny Bell and Jamal Turner even more as four receivers will be upperclassmen and five underclassmen assuming he signs come February.
