For all Husker football fans preparing to make their travel and tailgate plans for the two early season home games, your questions about kickoff times have been answered.
The Florida Atlantic Owls will take on the Cornhuskers at 2:30 p.m. central on August 30 allowing for a nice rest, some early revelry and what appears to be another season-opening win for the Big Red.
Should you not be able to attend Husker football’s meet up against the now Carl Pelini-less team, BTN has the call.
The following week, the McNeese State Cowboys take on Nebraska in a traditional 11:00 a.m. central Big Ten kickoff on September 6. Bring your coffee and ill temperament to shower discontent upon an FCS foe that likely doesn’t deserve that much.
That contest has been scheduled for an appearance on ESPNU.
As a reminder, the Huskers’ first road game against Fresno State on September 13 will kick off at 9:30 p.m. Big Red local time, available on the CBS Sports Network.
The culmination of the Nebraska non-conference schedule pits the Miami Hurricanes against the Big Red on September 20 in a primetime showdown at 7:00 p.m. in Lincoln to be televised on ABC/ESPN/ESPN2.
