We found ourselves stuck in the library this week trying to figure out what edition of Husker football history to slam into the projector this week. Mention was made about how bad Southern Miss had gotten lately.
That reminded us of the days when teams absolutely, positively did not want to play in Hattiesburg, Mississippi for fear of a loss.
However, the Huskers did back in 2003 under then-head coach Frank Solich who had a very familiar defensive coordinator.
Let Jammal Lord and the No. 11 Cornhuskers take your mind off the single-digit number of weeks until kickoff against Florida Atlantic with a tilt against the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles!
