If Nebraska decides to pursue Austin heavily, they’re going to have to throw elbows with fellow Big Ten members and a national power to do it.

The 6’3″ 190-pound receiver out of Grand Prairie, TX is being heavily targeted by Illinois, Iowa and Oregon. Former Nebraska quarterback and the Ducks’ offensive coordinator Scott Frost is leading that charge. Missouri, Ole Miss and Texas Tech are also gunning for the speedy pass catcher.

He officially named Texas Tech is leader back in March, and most gurus who weighed in on the topic agreed, but Oregon appears to be making strides. The battle for Austin would be a difficult one to win, but well worth getting involved in.
