Once Damore’ea Stringfellow announced that he was transferring from the University of Washington, Husker fans received some good news. Wide receivers coach Rich Fisher had kept in contact with Stringfellow following his commitment as Nebraska was one of his last choices during his first recruitment.
Big name schools were in the hunt as an eventual landing spot. Even Alabama would’ve gladly accepted Stringfellow.
In the end, it appeared that he was headed to Lincoln, NE following unfortunate circumstances following this past Super Bowl.
Once he came to Nebraska and signed papers, one side was bound to the other, but not the one you might think.
Until Stringfellow enrolls in classes, he’s free to pursue other options and it looks like he may be doing just that.
Demore’ea Stringfellow was on the Ole Miss campus Tuesday. He was a 4 star receiver for the class of 2013.

Ole Miss also offered the Moreno Valley, CA and fought to the bitter end to secure his signature, much like the Cornhuskers.
It appears a battle between a battle between Ole Miss and Nebraska could be brewing. Will anyone else want in and when will it end? Get your popcorn ready.
