Husker Football: Two Players Arrested During Past Week

Apparently bike theft’s a big thing for Husker football these days. Sophomore defensive back Boaz Joseph was arrested by University of Nebraska-Lincoln Police on June 7.

Joseph had stolen a decoy bike specifically used to catch thieves. Using a GPS unit, the police didn’t have much trouble finding him.

On June 12, reports of marijuana use at 19th and Vine were called in. Wide receiver Jariah Tolbert, an incoming recruit from New Orleans, LA, fled the scene but was eventually caught and arrested.

He was charged with obstructing a police officer and cited for having drug paraphernalia and less than an ounce of marijuana.
