Husker Football: Big Red Morphine – Huskers vs. Bruins ’83

Did you know that the Husker football series against UCLA is now tied at 6 games a piece? Unfortunately, the Bruins have gotten the best of Nebraska during the past two meetings. For this week’s edition of Big Red Morphine, we thought it proper that the Huskers got some payback.

After rifling through the library, we found a classic for you.

September 18, 1993 marked a trip out to Pasadena for No. 8 Nebraska to take on unranked UCLA. Not unlike the last time the Big Red visited, UCLA wasn’t about to go down without a fight. The outcome is a bit more enjoyable for those in scarlet and cream.

You know the drill. Grab you beverage, some snacks and click it to full screen.

Here come the Huskers and the Bruins circa 1983.
