Andrew White III A Possible Addition To Tim Miles' Nebrasketball

After Jordan Cornish decided to take his talents to the lights of Las Vegas, Nebrasketball fans needed a pick-me-up. They’ll get one if Kansas small forward transfer Andrew White III finds himself wearing scarlet and cream.

“I’ve been hearing the most from University of Maryland, Richmond, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Wake Forest, Miami and Florida State. I’m going to get with my family soon and start figuring out how I should handle my visits, so I don’t have an exact timetable on it. At this point I’m still open to any offers.”- White III to Wednesday evening.

A member of the Jayhawks’ 2012 class, the Charlottesville, VA native was ranked as the No. 14 overall player at his position, No. 2 in-state and the No. 54 prospect overall according to the 247Composite Index.

In 19 games, he averaged 2.3 points as a sophomore last season. While likely not an immediate impact player, White could gain experience learning Tim Miles’ system. Should Terran Petteway depart, it would be his time to shine in Nebrasketball’s spotlight.
