Nebraska Baseball: Huskers Dot All-Big Ten Honors List

For Nebraska baseball skipper Darin Erstad, it’s been hot under the microscope. He was put there thanks to a handful of questions. Was he a legacy hire? Can he actually bring Nebraska baseball out of the pit Mike Anderson put it in? Could Ted Silva and Will Bolt mesh with him to form a proper staff?

In his third year, the Huskers have a better overall and conference record than either of Erstad’s previous editions. The likelihood of them getting into the postseason has gone from “bubble team” to “which regional?” It didn’t happen overnight and not with scrub players.

The All-Big Ten honors were recently released and it shows that the former 14-year major leaguer is putting together a program that likely sees Omaha sooner rather than later.
