We ran over how the Husker football offensive depth chart will look come the fall. Now it’s time for the other side of the ball to be put under the microscope. While some youth and relative unknowns dot the roster, this Nebraska defense should (note the emphasis on should) impress.
Given the schedule, there’s no reason it shouldn’t be ranked very high nationally, especially in terms of keeping opponents in check on the ground. This would be quite the improvement considering Nebraska was ranked No. 54 last season giving up 156 yards per game.
