Nebraska Basketball: Huskers Draw FSU For B1G/ACC Challenge

Tim Miles’ Nebraska basketball team have drawn a second-straight team from Florida for the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. The Florida State Seminoles will host the Big Red during the 2014-2015 season. Interesting timing as Nebraska basketball recruit Jordan Cornish recently cut Florida State from his remaining teams in consideration.

Nebraska and Florida State have tangled in roundball only once before, a a 74-60 FSU win in the 2005 Orange Bowl Classic.

The Huskers are one of only three Big Ten programs with a winning record in the series. Handing Wake Forest their first road loss in the Challenge’s history and dismissing Miami (FL) last season has the Big Red sitting pretty.

The Big Ten/ACC Challenge in its entirety:

- Nebraska @ Florida State
- Rutgers @ Clemson
- Illinois @ Miami
- Minnesota @ Wake Forest
- NC State @ Purdue
- Ohio State @ Louisville
- Pittsburgh @ Indiana
- Syracuse @ Michigan
- Duke @ Wisconsin
- Georgia Tech @ Northwestern
- Iowa @ North Carolina
- Michigan State @ Notre Dame
- Virginia @ Maryland
- Virginia Tech @ Penn State
