Nebraska basketball’s second season under Tim Miles was amazing. People couldn’t help but be awed at what coach Miles did.
A 15-1 home record at The Vault, 15,419 fans were in attendance on average and that one blemish on Nebrasketball’s home court was an unfortunate spin. Sharing the Big Ten Coach of the Year honor with John Beilein and bringing Nebraska back to the Big Dance only raises the bar.
There’s one person who has some words for coach Miles: Tom Izzo.
A classy gesture by one of the best and classiest coaches in the land, let alone the league. Yes, the Huskers knocked off Izzo’s team at home. The same eventual Big Ten tournament champs and one that advanced to the Elite Eight, might there be a budding friendly rivalry?
