Husker Football: Big Red Morphine – Huskers Vs. Wolverines '05

The Huskers are going to be taken back in time to face once classic foes, now conference brothers in this week’s Big Red Morphine. Six years before the Big Red was actually a part of the Big Ten conference, Nebraska met up with the Michigan Wolverines in the 2005 Alamo Bowl.

The result was one of the goofiest games in the Huskers’ bowl history thanks to the Sun Belt referees on hand. The play at the end is merely the bow on the gift that keeps on giving.

Kick back, open your beverage of choice and watch the Huskers take on the Wolverines before it became occasionally mandatory.
