Jun 1, 2013; Tallahassee, FL, USA; A catcher

The Cornhuskers (28-16, 10-4 Big Ten) have officially clinched the series against the Michigan Wolverines (18-24-1, 8-9 Big Ten) thanks largely to pitcher Chance Sinclair.

The junior from Spring Hill, KS. put in 7.1 innings of work. Though he gave up six hits to the Wolverines, he surrendered only a single score in the Cornhuskers’ 3-1 victory.

The game was knotted at 1-1 heading into the eighth inning when Steven Reveles escorted Pat Kelly in for a 2-1 lead on a sacrifice fly. The final run of the game game on a Taylor Fish single bringing Austin Darby across the plate.

Darin Erstad’s Cornhuskers look to break out the brooms tomorrow for their first conference sweep since Ohio State earlier this month. Game time is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. and is available via BTN.com
