Nebraska Cornhuskers: Husker Baseball Tames Michigan In Game One

So far, Husker baseball (27-16, 9-4 Big Ten) has seen smashing success in Ann Arbor. The Huskers’ bats came alive against Michigan (18-23-1, 8-8 Big Ten) in the fourth inning of Friday’s game as a 1-1 tie became a 6-1 lead in a hurry.

A Mike Pritchard double to left field that brought in three Huskers home in the fourth smacked Michigan’s mentality down a peg. This would prove vital to the Big Red’s win

The Wolverines attempted a rally in the ninth, gaining momentum by bringing in three runs to make it a 6-4 contest.

Nebraska let the air out of the Maize and Blue balloon when outfielder Jackson Glines was tagged out.

Game two between Husker baseball and Michigan is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. start and will be available on BTN.com.
