Nebraska Cornhuskers: BTN Adds Two Games To Prime-Time Slots

The Nebraska Cornhuskers were added to the ABC/ESPN family’s primetime lineup for their games against the Miami (FL) Hurricanes and Michigan State Spartans. Now, the Big Ten’s making up for the lack of prime coverage for the Big Red on its network last year.

It was announced today that the BTN will feature Illinois Fighting Illini’s contest against the Nebraska Cornhuskers as they meet on Sept 27 for an 8:00 p.m. kickoff. BTN will also feature the always entertaining Battle of The NUs as the Huskers take on the Northwestern Wildcats at Ryan Field with a 6:30 p.m. kickoff scheduled.

What does this mean for the Big Red? Five later kickoffs (as of now), one more game that ensures recruits can make it in and longer tailgating opportunities for fans among other advantages.
