According to unconfirmed sources, senior Nebraska safety Harvey Jackson is transferring to become the newest member of the BYU Cougars.

This doesn’t come as a huge surprise considering that Jackson would be competing with Nathan Gerry, Leroy Alexander and Corey Cooper for playing time.
The latter two have stood out the most at the position during spring football, but Gerry isn’t far behind by any means and will get on the field somehow.
Jackson’s name has been removed from the school’s official website roster as of this writing.
The Fresno, TX native started in three games during the 2013 season and played in each of the first 10. Jackson played in 35 contests overall during his Husker career, starting in four. He accumulated 54 tackles (19 solo) and one fumble recovery in total.
