It seems like forever and a day ago that New England Patriots defensive back Alfonzo Dennard was looking at some potential major money as a kid fresh out of Nebraska. Days before the 2012 NFL Draft, he allegedly assaulted a cop and was eventually convicted of felony assault on a police officer.
Not the best of moves for a potential second-rounder.
Another unfortunate choice came in the form of a DUI arrest, a violation of previous probation.
After 35 days in an adult detention facility for his assault, Dennard is a free man, but may still be facing consequences.
Alfonzo Dennard is all square with the law, but maybe not the NFL. Spokesman says his case is still under review for potential discipline

Apparently, he’s adding people left and right on SnapChat, so give him a shout if you’re so inclined. Hopefully it’s smooth sailing for Dennard from here on out, and he can look at this time in his life as a lesson learned.
