The Nebraska Cornhuskers and South Dakota State Jackrabbits meet today at Memorial Stadium for the second time in four years. The Huskers are coming off of another devastating loss at the hands of the UCLA Bruins on national television.

The Huskers could also be without their four year starter at quarterback, Taylor Martinez. Martinez is dealing with a turf toe injury and is likely to miss his first start since his freshman season against Colorado. If he cannot go expect redshirt freshman Tommy Armstrong Jr. to be behind center for Nebraska.

The meeting between the Huskers and Jackrabbits also signals the end of non conference games for Nebraska, who will go into a bye week before conference foe Illinois comes to Lincoln on October fifth. A sellout crowd is expected to support the Huskers, who took a few hits nationally after last weeks loss, as  well as the audio of Bo Pelini after the 2011 Ohio State game.
