The Nebraska Cornhuskers were embarassed last year when they traveled to Pasadena to face UCLA. The defense was terrible, missing tackles and allowing the Bruin offense to gash them on the ground. It caused panic in Husker Nation. With Saturday’s rematch looming, Husker fans have taken to twitter to voice their opinions on this years game.

Jeff is right. Turnovers have been an issue in several key losses for Nebraska over the past few years. The same can be said about the UCLA game. Nebraska needs to hold on to the football. If they can we could be celebrating a big win for The Big Red.
#Huskers could lose to UCLA by 100 and it still wouldn’t change whether or not this season can be a success.

While I believe a hundred point loss could make this entire fan-base spiral into chaos, the pricipal of Bill’s statement is true. It would be great to see Nebraska take down UCLA at home, but The B1G schedule is much more important. As long as Nebraska knows what they are made of by the time Illinois comes to Lincoln, they will be fine.
can it be saturday already…#Huskers!#Bruins#GBR!

I completely understand what you are saying Bill. A lot of people have had this game circled on their calenders since last years loss.

Yes, it’s FINALLY time for a blackout at Memorial Stadium. I can’t wait to see the team in black uni’s. I have wanted to see that since I was in middle school (and that was a loooong time ago).
