NCAA Top 25

Week two of the college football season is in the books. There weren’t many surprises this week. Two time defending champion Alabama did not play, getting an extra week to prepare for a trip to College Station next weekend. Oregon, Ohio State, Clemson, and A&M look like the early frontrunners for a BCS Championhip push. There are several teams that are just below this elite tier of college football squads.

There were a few upsets. Georgia rebounded from last week’s loss to Clemson by taking down South Carolina. BYU defeated Texas by double digits in Utah. Miami took out number 12 Florida and stated their case for a spot in the Top 25. Michigan knocked off Notre Dame at The Big House, but I don’t know if that constitutes as an actual upset. The Oklahoma Sooners struggled with West Virginia but walked away with a 16-7 victory.
