06- Clemson Tigers:

Coach: Dabo Swinney

2012 Record: Overall 11-2   ACC (7-1)

The Clemson Tigers are poised for a run at an ACC Championship. Heisman hopeful Tajh Boyd returns for his senior season and gives Coach Swinney a great chance of winning the conference crown. Explosive wide receiver Sammy Watkins looks to bounce back and regain his 2011 form. Four of the five starting offensive lineman also return for Clemson, and this offense looks to be explosive.

The defense also returns several starters, including all three linebackers. Seniors Spencer Shuey and Quandon Christian, along with junior Stephone Anthony will disrupt offensive backfields. This experienced defense should be much improved this season.

2013 Outlook: The Clemson Tigers are my pick to win the ACC in 2013, and that includes going undefeated in ACC play. I do see them losing two regular season games, but to SEC giants Georgia and South Carolina. Clemson is good enough for a top five finish in the final polls.
