22- UCLA Bruins

21- Nebraska Cornhuskers

20- Wisconsin Badgers

19- Texas Longhorns

14- Oklahoma State Cowboys:

Coach: Mike Gundy

2012 Record: 8-5  Big XII (5-4)

The Oklahoma State Cowboys are considered favorites to win The Big XII by many experts. Mike Gundy has an experienced team coming back this year. While a new quarterback will be leading the huddle, several skill position players are returning. Wide reveiver Josh Stewart is coming off of a 1,200 yard season, and will likely draw a lot of attention from Big XII defenders. The problem for the opposition is that Charlie Moore and Austin Hayes are just as capable of making big plays.

Defensively Oklahoma State will have one of the most experienced units in The Big XII. Seven starters return from the 2012 team, and every level of the defense has experience. While defense is not typically a highly stressed component in The Big XII, it helps to have a group that has seen the Playstation like offenses in the conference.

2013 Outlook: Oklahoma State should compete with Oklahoma for The Big XII Championship. Bedlam will likely determine which team will play in The Fiesta Bowl. Look for Oklahoma State to have an improved 2013 season with The Cowboys winning the Big XII and a top ten finish at years end.
