*Junior running back Ameer Abdullah will miss the next couple weeks of practice after, “tweaking” his knee. Pelini said that he will be ready to go by the end of Spring Camp. Pelini went on to say this a great opportunity for players like sophomore Imani Cross, and redshirt freshman, King Frazier. Frazier is a walk on from Kansas City Mo., and has been doing some nice things according to Pelini.
*Redshirt Sophomore offensive linemen Ryne Reeves will miss the remainder of the Spring due to an ankle injury, but will be ok by Fall Camp.
*Sophomore defensive end Avery Moss, sat out of practice Monday with an undisclosed injury. In his abscence redshirt freshman, Greg McMullen took snaps with the No. 1 defensive unit opposite of senior Jason Ankrah.
*Comming off what Pelini said was the worst practice had seen in his 6 years in Lincoln, the coaches said they had a much better practice, and better energy on Monday. One thing that was done to shake things up, was redshirt freshman wide receiver, Jordan Westerkamp saw time with No. 1 offense today.
