Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini left Saturdays game against Arkansas State in an ambulance during half time. Pelini was said to have fallen ill during the game. Pelini is still scheduled to address the media on Monday as usual.
Pelini, 44 , was released from the hospital by Saturday evening. He said in a statement after the impressive win Saturday, “Everything is fine. They ran some precautionary tests and everything checked out just fine. I plan to be back at work tomorrow. I’m proud of our team and coaching staff for the way they responded this afternoon.”
No word has been released yet if Pelini did show up to the office today. We will know more on Monday.
