Nebraska vs. Arkansas State Half Time Notes

The Huskers take a 28-3 lead into half time over the Arkansas Redwolves. After being examined by the medical staff on the side line, Nebraska head coach, Bo Pelini said he just hasn’t been feeling well. Here are some notes from the first half.

*Redshirt junior quarterback, Taylor Martinez is 8/8 for 150 yards, and 2 touchdowns.

*Sophomore running back, Ameer Abdullah has rushed 17 times for 81 yards.

*Sophomore Braylon Heard has not had more than 3 carries in a game yet this season. He has 3 carries for 7 yards against Arkansas State.

*Both Zaire Anderson, and David Santos have seen time at linebacker today.

*Nebraska has rotated from a 4-3, and 3-4 defensive front all game.

*Junior college transfer Mohammad Seisay has been on the field in the cornerback rotation, he has not been thrown at once.

*Nebraska’s defense has allowed 99 rushing yards, and 99 passing yards.

*Nebraska forced two turnovers in Arkansas State first 3 drives.

*Bo Pelini was getting his pulse checked on the sideline. It came out that he is battling the flu.
